We all know that nutrition is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle but finding the right balance is easier said than done.  Here you will find a few simple tip and tricks to help you find that balance.

Tip #1: Try to eat mostly from the top two tiers of Michi's ladder.

Tip #2: Eat 5 to 6 small meals each day rather than 3 large meals.  Doing so will keep your metabolism fired up all day long.

Tip #3: Stay hydrated!  Keep a water bottle with you to sip from all day.

Tip #4: Make sure one of your small meals is breakfast.  Your body needs the fuel for your day.  Studies show that people that eat breakfast are much more likely to lose weight and keep it off.

Tip #5: Carry snacks with you so that you are never tempted to stop for fast food when you feel the hunger setting in.  Good choices are almonds and apples.

Tip #6: Write down every thing you eat.  Many people underestimate how many calories they consum each day.  Writing it down will keep you on track.
